i'm tired, ya'll.

and i want some cookies.

i go in for radiation or whatever august 27th. they have to scan my bones and lungs that week as well...cuz the cancer may have spread. blurgh. ps...i have to go on an iodine free diet for two weeks prior. anyone know any good iodine free foods? *frown* cuz i don't!

psyched for harry potter this week!!!

I hope it hasn't spread sweetie, I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya, as for an iodine free diet I must confess I never heard of that before, didn't they give you some idea what it's all about? I'm still having trouble with my painful ankle, feels like I twisted it but I haven't, got an appointment at the podiatrist's this week.

I have no idea where Darren is, maybe some french woman has had her wicked way with him and he's in basking in cloud cuckoo land wearing nothing but a self satisfied smirk, who knows? ;-)

Have you seen Kashy's holiday piccies from Lyme Regis on Facebook?they're great, little Jasmine is gorgeous (Ian and Richard are pretty cute too!)

there's like 2 pages of what i can't eat.

and a paragraph on what i can.

looks like beef...fruits and veggies...'cept beans.

i'm thinking maybe fruit smoothies? dairy free though.

i eat a lot of dairy and beans and soy and turkey. all of those are on the no no list. *chuckle* grr.

moderate alcohol is on the yes list though!

Apparently soda is iodine free. :/ I'll be thinking of you and crossing my fingers for a negative result. In a positive way! You know?

I just finished a paper today, only two more to go. *sigh*

Looking forward to HBP because its been months since I've been to the cinema, I'm more looking forward to Brothers, 500 Days of Summer, maybe Cheri and Coco Avant Chanel. Also the cast of Inglourious Basterds is awesome but Quentin Tarantino makes me queasy so we'll see how that goes.

PS You guys all have to trythese Tequila and pineapple kabobs. They're out of this world delicious and will make your life better, I promise.

those were my thoughts as well.

only no dairy. no dairy or eggs...and there's dairy and eggs in all things yummy.

cept booze. so...i guess i'm drinking my meals for 2 weeks. i'll be cancer free...but have dead kidneys and liver.

Not been shacked up with a French girl, been working my arse off and am totally dead. However tomorrow is Bastille Day and therefore a public holiday (and I bloody well need it so say NOTHING gretch). So I promise a full news update tomorrow, and some sort of coherent response to gretch's and andy's news, and depending on how refreshed I feel maybe some snark at Gabs. Now I'm going to drink a bottle of wine, watch True Blood and collapse into bed.
