I loved loved loved it, so perfect, if only I could click my heels and make it happen straight away I would be so happy for the first time in ages but I haven't even put mine on the market yet and I don't know whether I have the stamina for it, still..........

Go for it. Do you think it will be hard to sell your current flat? I can't believe how cheap property is up north. It really is fantastic, set against the canal like that. You'll kick yourself if you don't even try.

that's the problem at the moment though, a good time to buy but not to sell, would depend on how much I could get for this one really.

I've been viewing for a couple of weeks now but this one won me over straight away, felt right as soon as I walked in, nice warm feeling to it, the only drawback if you can call it that was the narrow hallway but I think I could live with that.

don't do it unless you can afford both for a while.

if not...then totally do it. it's friggin' gorgeous. i friggin' love that fireplace mantel...and all the tiling is well done.

I'm considering whether or not I could manage both for a while, I need to sleep on it and talk it over with the family tomorrow, see what they think. I agree about the fireplace and the tiling too, in fact it's in such good condition you could just move in and be good to go, no decoration or repairs needed anywhere, the only drawback is no garden but the canal setting and view more than make up for that, also the little terrace is cute, plenty of room for some pot plants.
