sitting here at my computer working and playing away and suddenly the room is filled with the scent of my Mum's favourite perfume

weird and upsetting

it was an old fashioned one called Tweed, my Mum wore it all the time, if I do happen to catch a similar scent on anyone else it reminds me of her straight away.

it's weird how certain smells recall certain places, people, or situations.

and although it unsettled me somewhat it was also quite comforting in a strange sort of way.


I still can't figure out how that particular scent was all over my bedroom, I don't use it so where did it come from?
