Yes, I sat in the office for four hours yesterday evening with a bottle of wine and watched the BSG finale, Dollhouse and Terminator. All were really good. It was the best Terminator episode in ages, made me sad it is probably going to be cancelled. The 6th episode of Dollhouse was, as Joss threatened, amazing and a total game-changer. Dollhouse has instantly gone from kinda meh, to oh-my-fikkin'-God-I-can't-wait-for-the-next-episode. The BSG finale was breathtaking in its audacity, and did indeed do the impossible in tying everything up with very little in the way of loose ends dangling. I am not sure if I entirely liked *how* they decided to tie things up, but there was no denying that it was an amazing piece of TV.

please tell me you're wrong about Terminator being cancelled, I'm really sick of this happening, its a great show and doesn't deserve cancellation! *cries*

glad you got to see all you wanted to see and didn't get into trouble, did you sit in a darkened room all sneaky like?

I can't get angry about it to be honest. It has had consistently bad ratings. It had bad ratings in its first season and the network took a chance and gave it a second. That's more than any fan could ask for and it has still performed badly even with lots of promotion. Fox are a business and I think they've been fair with Terminator. The show has been quite hit and miss, with some very strong episodes but also with a lot of weak ones. A classic case in point was their return after the hiatus. Three very slow episodes about the state of Sarah's psyche. I remember reading a quite well written blog post explaining why these were crucial to the dramatic structure of the arc, and whilst agreeing with the author I was also struck by the thought that his blog post had been more interesting than the episodes in question. Three quite dull episodes when it was absolutely crucial they come back from the hiatus with all guns blazing? Disaster. I really do enjoy the show and I honestly believe it has potential but I will be pleasnatly astonished if isn't cancelled. It is losing viewers with every episode. Nevertheless if you are a fan you should keep watching as it looks like it will go out on a bang.

I'm still be sad to see it go, I must admit to falling asleep during a couple of episodes but for the most part I really enjoy it and am invested in all the characters. On a personal note I will be sad for Lena, she's a distant relative and the family are very proud of her success, I'm sure this won't be the last we see of her on screen.
