I found this project quite interesting. It features regular, ordinary folk which you see in their clothes to begin with, but when you click the photo their clothes dissolve.

I was particularly struck by how lean and skinny many of the women were... not particularly appealing IMO. Add to that the hairlessness and it all seems oddly puerile.

Do you really think 20 is more attractive than 21? I just can't wrap my head around that!

I mean, I've succumbed to the "thinner is better" stereotype myself but IMO many of those women, while certainly attractive are kind of scarily fit and trim. And it was sort of reassuring because I'm not well-toned - and you can't tell that from facebook, so don't bother! ;)

I'm certainly not a dress size nazi. For all I know 21 does look better on you.

As for the women on the site, they just didn't strike me as out of the ordinary in any way. I thought that was the point of it. Ordinary people. Which is why I didn't understand the comment you made.

As for Andy's comment: of the women on that site I do not find the larger ladies more attractive, especially as the ones who were "larger" were in a couple of cases quite a lot overweight. Sorry. I'm just not a bigger is better sort of guy, although plenty are. The idea that it's men who want women to all be skinny is pretty much a myth in my opinion.

Although maybe you feel 21 is overweight, as she is one of the few thicker ones. The majority of the featured women are fairly thin and while it's true that they're all ordinary, I don't think that being that fit is the average - at least in Switzerland!

The idea that it's men who want women to all be skinny is pretty much a myth in my opinion. I agree, I tend to think women are worse about it than men, which is why I was surprised that in this case, Andy and I liked the bigger women while you did not.

Heh. I thought you were talking about European dress sizes, and I was thinkng "Wow, hey have no relation to UK dress sizes at all!" That's why I thought you were being all down on your size or something. I mean you chicks are fucking crazy about that shit, so I just assumed.

Actually I think both 20 and 21 are equally, differently, moderately attractive. 20 is definitely not bizarrely thin or super fit. She's just slim. (22 and 24 are the prettiest in my opinion.)

Also, bear in mind that my perception of what is normal has almost certainly been coloured by living in Paris for the last 6 or 7 months, where fat people are illegal and are shot on sight.

I mean, I keep myself as fit as possible but I'm still a brit size 12/14 which I consider to be normal but those girls must be a 6 or something, saying that I after I had the twins when I was 17 I lost loads of weight and went down to a size 8, much too skinny and my frame was very similar to those two. By the way if you look at number 9 she is the spitting image of my friend Paula naked frame and all, very slender and beautiful but not bony with a nice pair of little boobs.

She's kinda funky, without looking like she's trying too hard (which some of the other funkier ones do on the site), and she just seems to have lots of character. Whilst she doesn't have the prettiest face or the most amazing body she's actually really attractive. Like I said, it's the whole person that's attractive or not, not their bits, although I fear that I am in a minority of men who think that sometimes.

It's just them as a whole -- not their size, or their boobs, or their legs, or arse or whatever. 22 and 24 just struck me as the prettiest. Bear in mind that I also think Scarlett Johansson and Christina Hendricks (Mad Men, Firefly) are unbelievable hot.

12/14 is a normal size. Some women are naturally skinny (Kate Moss, Keira Knightley) and they look great the way they are. Some women starve themselves into skinniness and just look terrible (plenty of Hollywood actresses for example).

I actually have quite broad tastes regarding what I find attractive in women. But I do find being overweight for one's frame unattractive -- it just suggests bad diet, bad lifestyle.

No 9 doesn't do a lot for me. Not sure why.

although I certainly don't feel it sometimes! And I do get what you're saying actually, I have equally broad tastes in what I find attractive in men, I mean I go on about liking big hunky broody guys but really I find myself attracted to many different types, you either find someone attractive or you don't, whatever their body type.

I must admit I do envy naturally slender women though.

20 and 21 are the models numbers on the site. I have to agree with her though, 21 is much more attractive than 20 who looks emaciated and in need of a good meal, however I agree that one or two of the larger females are overweight but they are not the ones I am talking about, I just mean the ones who have a normal figure and are not underweight or overweight.

I wonder if we all see the same people, or whether each visitor gets a random sample. I can't personally say that any of the women I saw were excessively skinny, most were normal and a couple were decidedly overweight, as were the men. I was struck by the hairlessness of the men - is that normal? Obviously, I don't generally see many men naked. I'd say most women I get to see in that state these days are at least trimmed, but I had no idea that men shave their body hair off too to such an extent. I don't. Should I? Maybe it's a German thing.

maybe the pics change for everyone. As for the hairlessness I suspect that is deliberate although I'm not sure why they thought it necessary, the men especially do look a little odd the girls not so much, as for myself I prefer the hollywood look but each to their own.

We figured we'd see each other at a club tonight but I'm still feeling sort of sickly. the hairlessness was f'd up and i'm assuming was specific for this study to really show the body. nobody but nobody is that hairless.

that one dude was seriously well endowed.

there was only one dude that i would consider heavy. the rest of the group i kinda saw as either skinny or medium. i'm in the US though...and we're all giant as a nation.

naked skinny is definitely more unattractive than the others. that goes for men and women imo.

annnnnnnnnd nadia...you're gorgeous and should not in the least have any body issues. trust.

1. Hold your arms in front of you, elbows bent

2. Clasp hands together and push until your arms ache

3. Flex those boobies baby!!

4. Ignore smartarse comments from female office colleagues

5. Ignore intense looks from male office colleagues

6. Keep going as long as you can, this exercise really does work I do it regularly, although its a while before you see any results it also helps to avoid developing underarm batwings too.
