Subject: I've got a cold. Boo!
I went back to the UK last weekend to see my parents and it was freezing. I've had a horrible cold ever since I got back.
How's everyone else?
Paris is still great. Work is good. I'm working on a Rolex website at the moment. Potentially we will do an iPhone web app for them later. We pitched to Dolce and Gabbana last week. That went really well and now we're waiting to hear, but they said it was the best pitch they'd seen. UEFA now look like what they want is a native iPhone app, so if they do I won't be working on that project anymore which is a shame as I'd done so much work on it already.
I was meant to be going to see Lambchop in Paris tomorrow, but my friends sorted the tickets out and now I've heard that he has had to rush off to Italy for the weekend for some family drama, and I can't get hold of her to find out if she's gone too. If they've both gone then I'm screwed as they have the tickets. Bummer.
It's been very quiet here recently. Gabs, how is University? Have you in fact only just started, and the reason you won't ever tell us how old you are is because before you were actually still at school? Gretch, how is the new job? Andy, what's up with you these days? I seem to have completely lost track of whether you and Mike are still together or not. Tee, sorry to hear about your nephew. How is he? Kashy -- I never heard from your boss. How's the new job? Has 1click2fame started yet?

hey man. sorry about the sickness.
job is boring as crap. yeah it is. i'm assuming it'll pick up. but all i do is nothing nothing meetings meetings nothing nothing meetings. the nothing part is killing me. i'm not really a nothing kinda person.
it is a fun atmosphere though. workin' with people my own age now. even my boss is my age...and i've known him for 15 years. we have fun.

It's freezing here too -- Gabs, 16:43:25 10/24/08 Fri [1] (83.222.157.199)
I hope you feel better soon, and that the ticket thing works out.. good thing the job is going great. Your client list is impressive!
The fact that I won't say how old I am has just gotten to be a running joke that I like to keep on running. ;-.) I have just started university in Lucerne but before I was at a community college of sorts, or at least that's what my American friends told me it sounded like when I described it to them. The education system here is hard to explain!
I'm curious about Andy and Mike as well.

Darren!! sweetie!! we missed you!! -- andypandy, 17:42:45 10/24/08 Fri [1] (82.30.76.72)
ok ok, a little over the top but you know me, never one to hold back right? ;-)
Sorry about the cold, just got over a nasty one myself, hope you soon feel better, glad you're still enjoying Paris by the way and hope you get the ticket business sorted out with your friends. As for how I'm doing I'm ok I suppose, Mike and I parted company a little while ago with faults on both sides, I'm just starting to feel a little better but its going to take a while I think.
Don't leave it so long before you post again ok?

Hello! -- RJA, 19:54:31 10/24/08 Fri [1] (81.99.124.136)
Things are good here, although busy.
And Kashy is still out working! On a Friday night! Or possibly at the pub, who can say. He was going to email you btw, since he feels bad about the company not contacting you. By all accounts they have let several people down in that way.
And I have a job interview next week! Not particularly looking to leave my job, but if I got this one it would be a very big deal indeed.
Now off to drink wine and listen to music.

*sigh* so the tickets are in Milan -- DZR, 22:53:16 10/24/08 Fri [1] (82.123.195.67)
I heard from Jonathan and Esther. She gave him the tickets to give to me yesterday and he forgot. I was really looking forward to that gig.

the gig was sold out but I turned up anyway and someone had a spare ticket for sale. Awesome gig.

Glad to hear it! -- RJA, 23:39:21 10/25/08 Sat [1] (81.99.124.136)
But did they play You, Masculine You? By far their best song. Pat Nixon sings here heart out on that one.

No, they didn't -- DZR, 01:42:28 10/26/08 Sun [1] (82.132.136.205)
They player only new songs -- in fact they mentioned it and made a point of it -- but one of the new songs seemlessly merged into a cover of Once in a Lifetime by Talking Heads which was incredible. The encore was I Believe in You.
