Did you see the recipie for roasted asparagus? And bread pudding, and everything cookies and Marlboro Man's second favorite sandwhich?? I will be spending half of winter break in the kitchen, I can tell. ;)

I've been trying to cut back on the snacking since turkey day but with Christmas coming up it's going to be an uphill battle. Damn you and your butter, pioneer woman!

I'm stuck in the office working. And it's somethig like -1 outside (the fountain in the Jardins du Palais-Royal was frozen this morning when I woke up). I don't think I'll venture out for food just yet. I'll just keep mainlining the espressos from the amazing espresso machine in the office instead.

Can't you book a courier and send me some scones? Please?

Darren my dear, I'm going to take that as a compliment! But it's not just about weight, I turned my diet around last January and I don't want to slip back into old habits.
