Nope! -- Kashmanik, 14:07:08 12/14/08 Sun [1] (81.99.124.136)
All our telly viewing time at the moment is taken up by current US shows we watch, and DVDs of Spooks (which I've never seen before, and I'm currently in Series 2!). We'll get around to The Wire at some point, I'm sure, as well as the Rome and House DVDs that we've borrowed.
Too much TV!

Spooks was best in its early seasons -- DZR, 14:14:35 12/14/08 Sun [1] (62.240.244.114)
I enjoyed season 7 which just finished, but I think it was best early on when it was a lot less James Bond/24 and a lot more about the sorts of things MI5 might actually believably do.
Rome is truly excellent. Very much worth watching.
I've never taken to House, but I'm sorta allergic to medical dramas.
The two shows I plan to catch up on are Deadwood and Carnivale.
But The Wire is in a league all its own. I honestly think there is a very strong case for fast-tracking it to the top of your list.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like a nag -- DZR, 17:51:27 12/14/08 Sun [1] (62.240.244.114)
I don't mean to, I was just curious if you'd watched any more. I knew your DVD player had been up the spout, but I didn't know if you'd fixed it or had it repaired.

nah, it wasn't worth trying to get it repaired......... -- andypandy, 18:26:19 12/14/08 Sun [1] (82.30.76.72)
It was an old one anyway, Mike took the best one the swine while I was out at work, I haven't forgiven him for that.
And I didn't think you were nagging by the way!
