Subject: Morning boardies...

How about scrambled eggs, fruit salad and chocolate cake for breakfast? Pretty much what I had.

Though the majority of the cake is intended for a close friend who is going through a hard time with her boyfriend - in short, he's an unemployed alcoholic. I hope I can cheer her up at least a little bit tonight.

That breakfast sounds delicious Gabs, hope you can cheer your pal up a little bit with the choccy cake. I had a ginormous smoothie for breakfast this morning, it was delicious. Just been into town for lunch with my son and his new girlfriend, yes, another one, *rolls eyes*, she seems very nice but for some reason was really nervous talking to me however much I tried to encourage her, I mean, I'm not that much a scary Mom am I?

Now I have to bolster up the ego of my rather fragile colleague who has convinced himself he will never meet someone and fall in love, I keep telling him there's someone out there for him if he'd only relax and try not to look so desperate but he won't listen!!

home today. concert last night was OK. i've never seen dave matthews in cincinnati before. the crowd was...errm...special. not the crowd i'm used to at such concerts. jude got tire kinda quick but was a trooper.
