(Seeing the ice queen facade slip over her features made him want to rant and rage.. he didn't want her to go back to being the safe and secure Haylie that he had first met at the hotel.. sure he had had the hots for her then too, but she had driven him insane and he had found it a challenge to crack that exterior to find the passionate and loving woman inside.. the woman he no longer had the privelege to be with, it seemed.) Yeah, I guess we're going to have to share information. (He said as his eyes wandered her, pained from the fact that she had stepped back, though he had felt her reluctance and had a feeling if he pursued the point right now she would give into him.. but for some selfish reason he wanted her to come to him first. He had been betrayed by her, disappointed that she ahd left him so easily to suffer without a word for her safety and where she had gone. He opened his mouth to speak, to tell her how fucking scared he had been not knowing where she was.. how lonely he had been for her - and then he remembered what he had done the night before and suddenly he realized that he really didn't deserve her anyways, and walked past her, heading towards the keep. His eyes were down on his hands, and his gait was slower than normal.. he was brooding and he was broken inside and seeing her made it all the worse.)

Her brow furrowed a little as she watched him turn and walk away from her and it felt like her heart was breaking all the more all over again. So this is what it would have felt like if he had actually shown up at the church and walked away from her instead of just not making an appearance at all. It would have been her standing there, watching his back as he walked away from her. Shaking her head, she growled at her own self pity before she turned her eyes away from him, speaking just loud enough so he might be able to hear her. "Yeah, we'll share information. As long you bother showing up for that at least." She stated, turning on her heels to finish looking around the barn, attempting to get her mind back on work and away from the man who was making a habit of walking away and leaving her behind.
