(He didn't want her to know just how physically ill he had been over losing her, how he hadn't been sleeping, how he had neglected his training and how he had been 'off his feed', so to speak. He just wasn't concerned with those sorts of things, and most of the time when he ate something he would just throw it up anyways.) Yeah, I think I just have a bit of a travel bug or something, just haven't been hungry s'all. (He shrugged it off and looked over at her, remember the day that Shay had been shot and that she had been wearing that outfit and he had told Remy he wanted to know what it would be like to thaw out the ice queen. He realized then that he had accomplished that goal.. but that he had been the one to bring on the freeze again as well. At least he knew it was possible to bring her back around.) I dunno.. are you more interested in swapping case notes or in talking about us. (He asked her, looking over with mossy green eyes that were no longer as dark with pain, but mostly just unreadable in an attempt at a casual discussion.)

She bit her lower lip and shrugged a little, letting out a soft breath as her fingers fidgited to play with a loose strand of thread on the soft, luxerious comforter that covered the bed. "Um...I don't really have a whole lot of case notes yet..." She stated softly. "...really, this is the first day I have actually felt well enough to work...I guess I had some kind of travel bug too." The same one that he had, the lack of sleep or to much sleep, not eating, not training one. "Must be going around or something..."
