Subject: She took a moment before she spoke. "I..I don't like the idea of you being with other women...but I don't really have the right to be angry about it because we weren't...aren't...together..." She stated softly, her brow furrowed as she dropped her hands to rest on the comforter, playing with that same loose string she had been messing with earlier. She just didn't know how she was supposed to respond to this...the thought of him having sex with anyone else made her ache inside but for some reason the idea that it was two or more women made it a little less hurtful and more just annoying...

  • (He didn't like how she had so curtly announced that they weren't together.. wasn't she getting the point that he didn't feel like they had split? That he still felt connected to her and was still trying to be faithful to her? It ached inside him to yell it at her, to ask her what the hell had happened to her to make her give up so fucking quickly on something that was so obviously right for them both. He knew the answer to that question was himself.. but even still he didn't agree with the way she had run out on him as well.. an eye for an eye never got anyone anywhere but blind. Frowning a bit, he ran his hand through his hair nervously and walked over to where she was sitting, finding a bit within himself to comfort her even in his own pain.) I'm really sorry, Haylie.
