Maybe it was good for him to be focused on the case instead of her, it would make him stop making her feel so damn guilty and heartbroken for him. She shifted to stand up, heading to stand by the door and put some distance between them before she shifted her weight and bit her lip, her brow furrowed as she quietly sent up a prayer that Shay was alright.
