 Hey you forty somethings...Ask your parents if they remember the quonsets...I think mine (home) was where 2nd base is now on the ball field...Wow, if we had a field like that...We played on black cinders with taped up balls and cracked bats...Played tackle football with no pads...Walked to school in two feet of snow...Up hill...Both ways...THAT was my Canarsie...
