Hello. My name is Vinny Losasso and I lived in Canarsie from birth, 1953, until the summer of '69. I lived on East 99th street between Avenue K and L. I went to school at Holy Family Catholic School. Played in a band call the Renegades with 2 good friends Danny DePaolo and Nicky Santoro. Danny's dad owned a Funeral home Called DePaoloa's Funeral Home somewhere a few blocks from Rockaway Parkway on Avenue J(?).

It's been 32 years and last names of many other friends escape me. But, LuAnne Marisi, Grace ?, and I grew up together and lived close by. Graduated from Holy Family in 1967. Went to a Catholic HS, but can't remember the name as I moved to Florida in mid-term.

Hung out in the schoolyard at PS?. It was located on Avenue J and 100-101st street for several years. The only names I can remember were Ralph (about 3 years older than me) and Karen Ginsberg, who was a girlfriend of mine and passed away in 1971.

Anyone remember me? Or, if you know the whereabouts of anyone mentioned, please let me know.
