My mother, Ruth Fields, was a teacher at PS 115 for many years. She is now approaching her 87th birthday, spry and alert in New Jersey. Prior to heart surgery two years ago, she volunteered as a teacher's aide. For her birthday, I would love to gather meassages from former students and co-workers. My e-mail address is hfields@aol.com. Any cheerful messages (pictures would be nice too) will be gathered for part of her birthday gift. I'm sure she would love it. I'm an ex-Canarsie guy too. I moved from the old Veteran's Projects on Seaview Avenue in the third grade in 1954.
