(She smiled at Skeeter, nodding a little.) Thanks... (She murmured as he wrapped her wrist, her hand moving to hold the bag in place. For some reason, she was upset with Kyrian but not really mad at him... she was more jealous and bitter about the whole thing than anything else. Sure, he had no right to lay his hands on her in that manner, but she had provoked him and he was upset.. it just hurt her that no man would fight for her like that. She let her eyes wander over Braden, the man had to be damn stong to hold Kyrian back when he was so pissed off.. she knew for a fact that he was a force to be reckoned with.) (He knew deep down that Haylie was a strong woman, more than capable of handling herself and any situation thrown at her. What worried him was that she hadn't been sure of going into this and that she was going to be all the more harmed from it. He hated seeing her confidence shattered and this would only set her back further. He tipped his head as he looked at Braden, resignation in his gaze.) I know she can damn well take care of herself.. she shouldn't fucking well have to. (He spat, running his hand back through his hair and growling when it was his bad hand and the gesture just looked stupid. This just wasn't his week and all he wanted was to have Haylie in his arms so he could tuck her away somewhere and never have to experience this again. He looked over at Skeeter, feeling all the more upset at having been harsh with him before.. now when he needed him the most he felt as though he didnt deserve the other man's friendship.. he was counting on Skeeters protective nature and friendship with Haylie to help him here.)
