(He was glad that he got no guff from Braden about the order he had issued to him, because he would have had to kick his ass and prolly get his own ass kicked in the process. His eyes shifted only a little as the doctor shuffed past him and led the way to the room where Haylie lay.. his Haylie. He stopped in the doorway for a moment before he moved to her side, eyes wandering over her lifeless form as he stopped and laid a hand in hers. He nearly pulled back at how cold and lifeless she felt.. it was eerie and scared the hell out of him. His hand tightened on hers as he leaned down to press his lips to the soft spot below her ear, his voice low as he spoke to her.) I love you, baby.. I'm going to take you home now.. you just rest and I will take care of things.. (He murmured to her, trying his best to not be afraid that it was too late.. but it was hard when she looked so lifeless.) Please be okay Haylie, I can't go on without you.. (He whispered and brushed her hair back, realizing then that Braden had followed him, and looked over.) Are they coming?
