• She really didn't seem like the type to go frolicing in fields or messing up her pretty hair or anything like that so he kind of tossed her a sideways glance before he pulled his hat lower down over his eyes to block out the afternoon sun that was shining even through the tinted windows.   • He smirked, nodding his head once he got her word that she wouldn't start any problems and then looked down at his watch. "Well, let's get this thing started then, shall we?" He questioned, his brow furrowed a little as he stood and got out of the truck, motioning for her to follow. "Come on, haven't got all day to get this done with, there's plenty more I want to do with you later." He leered at her lightly, for the benefit of those standing in front of the building before he grabbed her good arm and jerked her (though it was actually gently it appeared quite rough) to his body, getting her to follow him closely through the doors and into the foyer. • He nodded as Hayden came and got them to lead them into the room, following behind the other man until they got into the room. His eyes quickly travelled around to make sure they were all by themselves in the room before he stepped up close behind Hayden and in one might shove had him pushed against the wall, his gun drawn in his other arm as he crossed it against the man's back, holding him there. "You move and I will not hesitate to put a gun through your vital parts son and don't doubt me for a second that I would do it." He looked over to Gia. "You, we are all going to walk out of here real calm like, I don't want any trouble or to draw any attention, you got it?"       • He smiled warmly at Courtney when she used that voice on the prisoner. Hell, a voice like that could bring anyman to his knees's. Shaking his head free of his thoughts, he simply swung Gia up in a fireman's hold, nodding to Courtney to start walking and he would follow her out. His eyes moved quickly to make sure there was no way in the hall and soon enough he was ushering his little group out and to the car. Opening the door, he placed Gia in the front seat and then buckled her seatbelt, locking her in there before he grabbed Hayden by the back of his collar, shoving him against the car as he patted him down and then finally cuffed him, pushing him into the backseat. Once he was locked in, Braden finally turned his eyes to Courtney, winking at her lightly. "Good job there, darlin'." He stated, pleased with how easily things had went.     • (She was just glad to have the gun out of her bad hand.. she had had a couple of moments when she was afraid that she might drop it and then she would have had to shoot Hayden when she picked it up after he started running from her.. and that might have gotten blood on her. With an indulgent smile, she shifted back from her prisoner to allow her partner to manhandle him. She had to admit that his praise felt good, but she wasn;t used to getting praise when she didn't have a bullet lodged in herself somewhere. She curtsied in a joking manner, even though the bit of color in her cheeks was genuine.) All in a days work.. (She said with a little laugh, tucking her gun back into the hip pocket on her miniskirt.) You weren;t so bad yourself, cowboy. As soon as he was in and starting up the car, he smiled, looking into the rearview mirror at her. "Sounds like a plan, we'll have to go over with Skeeter the way things went down but as soon as that is over then we can go out for some coffee or lunch maybe...I am starting to get hungry at least." He was always hungry through, so that was nothing new but he was happy to be done with this. "Hopefully we'll be heading out of this forsaken country by this time tomorrow..." • He glanced back at Courtney, noticing that she was being unusually quiet but he pushed aside his concern, figuring that her wrist was hurting or she was just coming down off of the adrenaline high that being out in the field provided. He could tell she held some animosity towards Gia, beyond that of just the other woman being a pain in the ass for getting them all involved in this, and he was about to get involved in some cat fight. The rest of the trip was made in silence, both of them lost in their thoughts, well, really, Courtney was thinking more then Braden. Braden was just thinking about getting home really.   • He frowned a little as he watched Vixen stride off, his brow furrowed before he looked back to Gia. "Now I drop you off with Skeeter and I make a run for it before the yelling starts." "Monarch became ill while here, had to be life flighted back to the states and Jester went with her so it's just Vixen, myself and Skeeter here still." He stated, looking down at her. "And I would appreciate it if you just behaved yourself so we could get the hell out of this country as soon as possible." He stated seriously before he came up to the door where Skeeter was. • (She let out a breath as she leaned back on the door, looking around the dark room and remembering the night that she and Skeeter had spent in that bed. Her eyes closed and she leaned her head back against the door. Get a hold on yourself, girl.. you are above this.. you are a powerful and independant woman who- oh what the hell... she doesn't deserve him.. She growled under her breath and pushed away from the door with her elbows, striding across the room to where her bag was on the floor, yanking her tank over her head as she did and dropping it on the floor by the bag before shimmying out of her miniskirt and panties and walking into the bathroom in just her heels. Once those were off she stepped into the shower and turned on the hot water, letting it pour over her and scald her skin, removing the anger and bitter lonliness she was feeling. • He hadn't liked the way that Courtney hurried off so after getting Gia into the room with Skeeter and informing the other man that he would be back in with Vixen later to fill him in on what happened, he headed towards her room. When no one responded to his knock, he simply pulled out his pocket knife and opened the lock on the door, letting himself in. Hearing the shower running, he just kicked off his boots and unbuttoned his shirt, stretching out on the bed with his hands behind his head as he waited for her to emerge. • (After close to ten minutes in the scalding water, she climbed out.. only because she was starting to burn and as much as she was upset she could still feel the pain. Shutting off the water, she picked up a towel and used it to dry herself off, opening the door and walking out in the nude, her head tipped to the side as she toweled off her long hair. Her skin was red from the hot water and steam rose from her in the cool air of the room. She crouched to pick up her bag, but paused as she felt eyes on her.. her instincts going into overdrive, she picked up her gun in her left hand and turned to face him, the intensity dropping as she saw him laying there.) For shit's sake, Braden, I could have shot you.. (She shook her head, not at all pissed about him seeing her naked, but moreso that he had snuck into her room and almost gotten a bullet between his eyes. Of course, the Thai women he had been spending his nights with since he got here were beautiful but he was a sucker for a down home girl with a few curves on her. A smile played on his face as he shifted a little on the bed, just watching her as she moved around the room. She really had done well that day, especially considering that she was injured and had a lot on her mind. It proved her a good agent, that she could push aside everything else that was going on to just focus on the mission and not be distracted. • "Way to subtley tell me to hit the road." He grumped about his boots being placed on his stomach though he sat up immediatly and tugged them on, placing his hat back on his head. He took a short walk down the road, finding a conveniance type store and popped his head in there, smiling when he saw the icecream. Heading inside, he picked out a couple different flavors, got some plastic spoons and also picked up a chocolate bar for her. Content with his purchases, he headed back up the street to the hotel and when he finally made it back to the hotel room, he kicked on the door with his boot, his hands full so he couldn't open it up. He was in no hurry to run into Skeeter or Gia again and was more then happy to just hang out in her room until it was time for them to go back to the states. He murmured softly as he shifted over onto his side to gently take the spoon and ice cream away from her, setting it in the bag at his side in case it melted more before he looked over to her. With a smile, he shifted, standing up so he could pull the blankets up over her before he laid back down on top of them, still pretty into the movie because, really, seriously, Jean Gray was definitely easy on the eyes. As he took the ice cream from her, she shifted to curl up on her side, gazing almost blankly at the television and looking up at him as he laid the blanket over her. She smiled and murmured her thanks, and when he laid back down on the bed, she scooted closer to him and looked up at him through quietly pleading eyes.) It's cold in here..
