(He let out a long, low sigh and a long drink from his mug of coffee. It was obvious to him that she didn't drink much, or at least often, and that she had been a lot more drunk than he had thought she was. Perhaps she didn't remember what they had done the other night and waking up beside him had thrown her.. though he didn't think he was that distateful to look at honestly. Feeling a bit sorry for her, and a bit disgruntled with himself, he walked over to where she was sitting and stepped up behind her, urging her to move her hands away from her face and to sit up so that he could lay his strong hands on either side of her head, slowly and gently massaging her temples.) Just relax, in a moment I will add some scotch to your mug.. your system is just a little off balance. (He murmured in his low brogue, looking over her head and out the window to where the skyline of washington d.c. was visible in the distance.) Really.. just relax. (He said softly again, trying to get her to stop thinking about what had happened between them so that he could take care of her. Regardless of how she was feeling about him at the moment, he was her husband and as such he was entitled to take care of her.)
