He shook his head, his brows raised as he scoffed. "Talk? That's the difference between you and me, Kyrian. When I met her, I did talk to her. When you met her, you fucked her. Silly me for not realizing the girl would go for the guy who was just trying to get laid." His head cocked to the side, his own body strumming with the need for a spot of violence. "Is that why you didn't show up? Why you didn't marry her? Afraid you wouldn't get as much use out of your sex toy if you actually committed or were you just wanting to keep your options open in case someone else came along?" The words were harsh and when he calmed down he would regret spewing them out but right now emotions were running high, they were both tense, there were people that both of them cared about in danger and it was causing them to be on edge. "You read her file? Oh yeah, well then, fuck, you must know everything that was going on in her damn mind. Why didn't I think to read her file!?" The sarcasm was nearly dripping off his voice.
