(He watched her for a long moment in the reflection of the mirror, his brow furrowed and his mouth in a straight line. She was a determined and strong woman, he had to admit that.. and he really had hurt her.. but he had also told her that no matter what he loved her. Shaking his head, he reached for a white tee, slipping it on before adding the leather shoulder holster and a black button down shirt that he left open. Draping his leather jacket over his arm, he checked the safety on his gun before slipping it into the holster and following her out into the hall, checking his pocket for his keys before pulling the door closed. It was going to be a long day, he could tell by the set of her jaw as she walked in that damned regal ice princess fashion towards the door. He caught up with her outside the hotel and lit a cigarette as he crossed the parking lot towards the rented SUV he was driving.) Let's go pick up the evidence from local HQ and go get something to eat while we go over it.

She stated, climbing into the SUV and pulling her sunglasses over her eyes, letting her hair fall back around her face as she settled in to gaze out the window, her jaw set as she urged herself into work mode, focusing on the case and going through what little she knew. There wasn't a whole lot to go over since she didn't know hardly anything and it was making her anxious to get the information that the CSI team had acquired and get on with this investigation so they could find their friend and just get on with their lives once again....
