Subject: (He was quiet for a long time as he listened to her work, consuming the toast when the waitress brought it and then downing the glass or orange juice in a way that made the waitress arch a brow when she came back to check on them. He just shrugged and nodded when she asked if he wanted more. Leaning back in his chair, he crossed his arms over his chest and eyed her for a long moment, yawning widely before focusing his eyes on the piece of torn material again. After a few moments, his eyes had closed and he was dozing lightly at the table, exhausted still from not sleeping. He had never been good at the case work, hated writing notes and things of that nature.. he was more interested in the field work.)

Prison gates won't open up for me
On these hands and knees I'm crawlin'
Oh, I reach for you

  • She worked tirelessly for close to an hour before she looked up and spotted him dozing. A low growl escaped her lips as she shut her notebook a little louder then necessary and then started putted the evidence away. She was getting aggrivated with him and her patience was wearing thin. He had hurt her pride by rejecting her advances, hurt her heart by leaving her at the alter and now he was just playing like he was the victim here and it was ridiculous. Her jaw set as she threw down some bills and stood up, grabbing the briefcase. If he woke up, fine, if not then she was going without him. (NT) -- Haylie, 20:47:28 03/14/06 Tue
