(He didn't seem to be listening the entire time that Skeeter spoke, simply kept staring at the wall as he contemplated the fact that his Shay was carrying a child and that some bastard had thought it was alright to mess with her. When Skeeter finished, he looked over at him, the sudden silence in the room startling him back to reality, even though he had heard every word. He cleared his throat as though caught napping.) Right, yes. (He said in a sheepish manner, running a hand back through his shaggy hair.) I've been going for three weeks straight, slept a total of about ten hours, I need to clean up. (He looked the picture of health, save for the circles under his eyes, and the adreneline was keeping him going. He looked at his watch, it was one.) Be back here at four. (He turned to head back towards the elevator, then stopped and looked back.) And Skeet.. thanks. (He said and nodded his head a little to acknowledge just how much the other man's help and understanding meant to him.)
