She drew back, suprised and a definately a little taken back by his request. Her eyes searched his as her hand came up to brush over his jaw, gazing into his eyes as if to make sure he was really truly serious about his request. This was a big deal, a year of her life given to this man. She swallowed softly, thinking it over...her family would freak out, her suitors were supposed to be met and decided over by her family so that they could judge who would be coming into the royal line though shouldn't she get a chance to speak on her own behalf, to make her own decisions? Her eyes met his and he looked so earnest, so honorable that she found herself nodding, without words but just nodded at that moment, in agreement to his request. She didn't think she could form words if she tried, she was stuck in shock and still feeling the intense desire from a few minutes before. Her fingers were still twisted in his shirt, she realized absently, and she let go in order to smooth the wrinkles out of it thoughtlessly.
