Subject: (His eyes glinted as her words rang true in his head, and his good hand fisted at his side, the anger roiling off of him.) Don't you think I know that Haylie? (He groused at her, wishing immediately that he had held his tongue, he got downright mean when he was cornered or frustrated, both of which he felt.. and he was feeling responsible for whatever happened to her, Shay and Remy.) I take it you packed already? (He said in a softer tone, apology in his eyes for the outburst, and in the expression that crossed his bruised features.)

  • She raised a brow when he snapped at her, her jaw setting a little as she nodded. "Yes." She made her way out of the bedroom to make sure she had everything, including his shots and medications. Seeing that the room was bare, she flipped on her cell phone and turned off the power, taking out the battery and leaving it on the table. The battery held the chip which contained the GPS tracker and she didn't want them to be followed. She'd wait and see if he thought to do the same before she said anything though, heaven forbid she actually seem like she knew what she was doing. She glanced around once more, making sure everything was where it should be before she finally came back into the living. "Everythings packed." Her arms crossed over her chest as she waited for him to finish getting dressed, checking her gun before she looked back up to him, waiting a little impatiently, something just didn't feel right and it was making her anxious.
