  • She laughed softly as she watched him moving around so restlessly, her head shaking lightly. She felt amazingly better with the light glue sutures and the vicadins, it was amazing. "I will take the bandages off if you will just sit down and relax for a moment." She stated softly, a low breath escaping her lips as she watched him, her eyes warm and quiet. "We should go out to dinner tonight..." She stated softly, just bringing it up casually, if he didn't want to it was fine but Shay was right, Haylie definately had a girly side to her and the idea of going out to dinner, maybe even wearing something nice if he wanted her to, it just sounded appealing to her. • (He pursed his lips as he regarded her, his eyes wandering over as she sat on the sofa before he nodded.) Okay.. as long as you're feeling up to it I wouldn't mind. (He said softly, seeming to console himself that she was fine. He had argued with the doctors for a half an hour about the "glue crap" they used instead of sutures, asking them what it was, how it worked, if it really did work.. he hadn't been too convinced about it until he had talked to her. After retrieving the lotion, he came back into the living room and sat on the sofa next to her, handing the bottle to her and arching a brow.) I'm driving you nuts, aren't I. (He said and smiled a little, turning so that his back was to her. The doctors had simply hooked the bandage on with medical tape, even though he had asked them not to, apparently they just didn't care for his comfort or sanity.) • She laughed, shaking her head lightly. "No, your not driving me nuts." She stated as she carefully took off the medical tape and then carefully took off the bandage, pleased to see the pink skin beneath. "I am, however, going to have to insist that you not drink four twenty ounce mountain dews again. When you did that, then you were were driving me nuts." She grinned lightly, leaning forward to brush her lips against the base of his neck playfully before she grabbed the lotion and warmed it up in her hands before spreading it over the expanse of his back. "I think I am up for it, by the way, they said that I could eat whatever I wanted and with the vicadin it hardly even hurts to swallow at all now..I can wear a scarf or something around my neck..." (He liked talking with her, she made him feel at ease with himself.. which was odd since he wasn't used to being so comfortable with a woman around. He lived with Remy because he was like a brother and he purposefully kept everyone else pushed away because they made him feel uncomfortable. But with Haylie, he felt like he could be himself and she wouldn't be annoyed wit that. He jumped a little at her touch, but calmed and looked over his shoulder at her words.) • "Hey, if it had been up to me we wouldn't have been across the country in the first place." She stated, swatting playfully at his side before she stood up and went to go wash off her hands from the lotion before she came back to him. She shifted so she was sitting on his lap, resting her head on his shoulder as she sighed softly and cuddled close. "Whatever kind of 'out' you want. I am up for anything." She really would be fine with just heading out to the neighborhood applebee's or somewhere fancier, she didn't care. She was just happy being there with him. "We could just hit the lounge downstairs if you want..." The bar/lounge served food like hamburgers and such like that, it would suffice if that was the way that he wanted to go. • (Because he was healing up so well, he thought perhaps they could go out and actually have some fun somewhere.) I dunno.. we could get room service from there, so that seems like a cop out to me.. (He said, then pursed his lips as he put his arms around her and leaned his head on hers to think about things.. ) I'm not used to picking restaurants.. Remy and I have a system for dinners because he got sick of asking me what I wanted to eat and then not eating for two or three hours until I figured it out. (He grinned, still not realizing how his words sort of made it seem like he was missing Remy. Then suddenly he smiled.) I do know of a little place that you might be interested in.. it's an upscale adult entertainment place that just so happens to have a grill. • She ran her hand through his hair lovingly, slowly, letting the dark locks fall through her long fingers as he spoke. Even if he wouldn't admit to even himself, she knew he had to be missing his partner, the man who was more like a brother to him, the man who he wasn't used to being away from for more then a couple of hours at a time. At his second phrase though, she laughed, looking down at him. "Listen to you, making it sound all fancy..." She laughed softly before she leaned down to kiss him for a moment. "Well, I am hungry, so why don't you call Remy and Shay and see if they wanna meet us there around sevenish? I wanna run down stairs to the stores there and then take a quick shower..." I know of this strip joint that has killer food, want to go stare at boobies?' (He arched his brows and tilted his head a little as he smirked at her, though for once he actually didn't think it was odd or funny to talk like this with her.. it was actually sort of comfortable.) (He said with a smile and pressed another kiss to her lips, enjoying the time together and finding it sort of telling that both of them wanted to be around Remy and Shay so soon after spending several days in close quarters with them.)   • (He had indeed called Remy while she had been out, and had been amused to find that his friend found the idea intriguing and could have sworn he heard Shay's laughter in the background.) Yeah.. they said they would meet us there later. (He said from where he was laying on the couch on his stomach, the radio playing a soft jazz station that was soothing to him and his eyes were half open. He found that he got bored without her, depressingly quickly actually. He found the idea of sneaking into the bathroom after her extremely interesting and within moments of her disappearing, he snuck in behind her, wrinkling his nose at the smell.) Are you bathing in bleach? (He asked through the damp mist that hung in the air in the small bathroom, and leaned back against the tiled wall, using a finger to shift the shower curtain and tipping his head to peek at her with a cocked brow.. he could be a real boy sometimes.) • She smirked and nodded, her voice completely serious. "Yes, I wanted to be really clean. Really, really clean." She rolled her eyes, sticking out her tongue at him before she closed her eyes and ducked her head beneath the spray, rinsing out the smelly gel. She looked over at him peeking in and growled teasingly, snatching the curtain shut. "Gimmie one minute." She wanted him to be surprised by her having her dark hair back. She quickly used her regular strawberry conditioner to make her hair smell good again, instead of like bleach apperantly before she gingerly flipped her head over and squeezed out the excess water, letting the wet locks fall in waves around her as she opened the curtain, cocking a brow as she brushed her dark hair over her shoulder.           • She slipped on her leather jacket and then put her purse back over her shoulder before cocking her brow as she waited for him, tapping her foot playfully. "If you hurry up and get your ass out here I'll even let you drive..." She coerced in a sing-song voice, her good mood evident by her teasing and laughter. Absently she stuck a piece of gum in her mouth, leaning against the counter and doodling on a pad of paper as she waited for him to come out. Honestly, she didn't really care if he drove all the time, she just didn't want him agitating his back any. It was natural to her, the way she took care of him, she didn't really think about it she just went with her insticts and her instincts just told her to care for the man she loved. She had such a free spirit around him that he felt blessed to be one of the few people privileged to get to see it on a normal basis. The thought of how 'free' her spirit might be later made him groan inwardly as he got up from the bed and shifted to haul his pants back up a bit, damn things had a mind of their own - so he picked up a belt from the dresser top as he headed out to meet her in the entryway, putting the belt on as he walked and almost walking into her.)
