She nodded a little at that, coming up behind him as she inspected his back, her voice soft. "I though it would keep your shirt from scratching..." She stated softly, still hating the sight of his poor skin but toughing through it anyways. "Stay here, lemme get the ointment and put it on before I wrap it up." With that she headed into the bedroom to get the ointment, biting her lip as she waited for his initial wince at the contact before she put a generous layer of the ointment over his back, that would help soothe any agitation. Next went the guaze, carefully wrapping the wounds till she was satisifed. She then came around front, her eyes intent as checked the sutures on the wound on his hip and shoulder, at least they were healing up as well as the bruises were starting to fade a touch. She glanced up, her eyes finally meeting his as her hand moved up to brush his hair out of his eyes. "Your cell phone..you should take the battery out and we'll pick up no ones on the way." She finally suggested a little hesitantly, not wanting to deal with him getting all pissy again.

(He was relieved that she seemed to accept his apologetic behavior and went into the other room. As usual, he tensed up before she touched him, but calmed under her hands, sighing as she came around to look at him, his eyes searching her face as she looked him over.) Thank you. (He said when she lifted her hand to bush his hair back, then he nodded a little bit, his hand moving to her side in a soft but intimate touch.) That sounds like a good idea. (He always forgot about the GPS devices.) What would I do without you.. (Her caring had made him feel soft and tender towards her, and he gave in to the impulse to kiss her, brushing his lips over hers for a moment, lingering to get her to respond.)
