(He would have been content to sit back and simply watch her as she excitedly flitted about between the three of them, filled with love and emotion that made him feel like he was on top of the world. There was nothing in life more fulfilling to him then making his Shay happy. His hand squeezed hers lovingly as she took it and they walked together down the hall towards the exclusive restaurant on the other side of the hotel lobby. His muscular build and towering height gave him a powerful appearance that was at odds with the boyish charm his shaggy hair and bright brown eyes gave him. The tailored tux he wore fit his trim body perfectly and outlined every subtly shifting muscle that lay perfectly toned beneath the material. As she spoke, he looked down at her, a slightly smug smile gracing his features.) I was happy to do it, and let's just say that I had a feeling that first night we were together that my life would never be complete without you in it. (Even when he had left her that night to join the military he had done so knowing that his life would bring him around full circle to her.. it just had to- life was pointless to him without her love.)

(He rarely had moments when his thoughts caused him to become lost, but she did odd and sometimes wonderful things to his system that put him on overload. His hand felt good at her back and he smiled as she shifted towards him, leaning over to press an impulsive kiss to her temple, immensely pleased with how she was becoming a part of his little family, Remy and Shay were that close to him now.) Thank you, for doing that. (He said softly, just to her, as they followed Remy and Shay to the restaurant.) She deserves this after what she's been through.. so does he, really. (He had been through what he called 'the dark years' of Remy's life, and knew just how low the man could get.. and this woman had brought him out of it.)
