(He made a soft sound of annoyance and pain as he awoke to the tapping at his cheeks. He felt her hands nudging him and then her voice mused his senses into slipping back into place again. He opened his eyes, the bloodshot depths still green but a muted shade with pain he was in. He took a breath and tried to move, almost blacking out again from the pain.) Haylie.. (He said in a hoarse voice that was almost accusatory - she was in danger here and in his condition he had no way of helping her should the need arise. He would have to rely on her and that made him angry.. he wanted to protect her not force her into further danger.) ..leave me here. (He groaned out stubbornly, though he had put his palm against the floor in a pool of his own blood to push himself to his knees, where he stayed shaking for a few moments. When the bloodrush had cleared, he shakily got to his feet and put his good hand out to catch his weight as he moved to lean on the wall.) There are two men outside the room. (He said, his eyes shifting to take in the window she'd used and the handgun and knowing she couldnt have taken them out too.)
