At his threat to get up out of the bed, her hand not in his lifted to his shoulder, the one that wasn't cut and sutured, and laid a gentle pressure there without ever looking up. She had no doubt he really would get up if Skeeter pissed him off enough and she definately didn't want him doing that. She was quiet the whole time that Skeeter was in the room and as soon as he left she brought her eyes up to his again. She let out a shaky breath, running her hand over her eyes softly. "Not crying..." She instisted stubbornly, offering him a shaky smile before she lifted her hand from his shoulder to gently brush his hair back from his brow, much the same as he had pictured when he was preparing himself for that bullet. "You should try and sleep a little bit..." She murmured gently, wanting him to rest to help his body heal just even a little bit quicker. "Do you want me to call Remy?"
