Subject: She let out a soft breath, the obvious desire to be held by him written all over her expression. Her lip tucked into her teeth thoughtfully though, a little worried. "I just don't want to move and accidently hurt you." She stated, even as she grabbed the lotion and poured it into her hands, warming it up in her palms. She shifted onto her knee's. "Just remember it will feel better after a second." She stated softly, warning him about the initial pain of being touched as she began to apply the ointment to his burned skin. Her brow furrowed gently, hating to inflict more pain on him but she felt the moment that ointment started to soothe and he began to relax.

He thought about her answer and sighed after a moment, smiling a bit.) Honey, if you're going to work beside me you're going to have to learn that I don't my own pain get in the way of something I need to do. (He needed to hold her because he needed to take care of her.) Besides, if you don't sleep you won't be able to put the lotion on my back, and I think we'll both agree that I can do it myself. (He said softly, trying to lighten the mood for her. Had she sought him out for comfort he would have willingly welcomed her into his arms, kissed her until she was feeling warm and then held her until she slept, soothing her throughout the night... but she was choosing to go it alone like he usually did.. it seemed they both had a lot to learn.)
