His expression had gone from pained and resentful to suddenly blissfully blank as he eyed her through her oration, his heart picking up and dancing within him at the thought that she had been as affected as he had. They did have three weeks together now.. and perhaps now that Remy was married he would want to stay on with his wife and he could have a new partner.. He stilled, wondering when he had suddenly decided that letting Remy go was okay.. when he'd found out he had a flippin chance, that was when. The corner of his mouth tipped up a bit after a long moment of shocked silence, and soon he was actually smiling as he looked at her, a soft smile - almost smug and reaching right in to deepen the mossy green color of his eyes.)

  • She frowned as he didn't say anything, just stared at her like she had two heads or something. "Great, now your just going to stare at me?" She huffed, growling lightly as she shifted to lay on her back, a grumpy frown on her face. She had gone and spilled her guts to him and he was just going to stare at her without saying anything. "What the hell are you looking so smug about?" She wasn't overly happy about the way she had just come out and bared herself to him and now she was vulnerable to whatever he wanted to say or do to her and it just gave him more power to hurt her.
