(He closed his eyes for a moment as he felt her pain.) Baby.. (He crooned, pulling her all the more closer into the strong circle of his arms and brushing soft kisses over her hair.) Don't.. please.. I'm here now.. everything will be fine.. (He murmured, praying that he could just keep his cool and be there for her, now that she needed and wanted him there. She was right, they might only have this time and he would be damned if he would let the chance to love her slip away.) (He found that he liked watching her work, seeing her mind work behind her eyes.. though it irked him that he hadn't figured that out himself. Sighing, he moved closer to look at the pills, taking one in his hand.) Yeah, these look familiar. (He admitted, setting it back in the bottle and looking at her. His brow arched and he laughed incredulously.) I got poisoned, tends to make a man feel just as shitty as he looks. (He ran a hand back through his hair, wondering why it suddenly bothered him that he looked like shit in front of her.)

He fetl compelled to kiss her, to share his strength with her and to let her know that he loved her. Her admition that she had believed his innocence bolstered his mood and brought about a sense of right within him.) (He brought a hand up to his neck and when he brushed over one of the bruises, barely held a wince.) Yeah, I didn't realize he'd bruised me. (He felt a bit embarassed about being overcome, but Remy was an impressively large and strong man, so it wasn't like he was a wimp or anything.
