She inhaled a deep, shaky breath, her eyes closing as she rested her cheek against his chest, still crying, the tears still streaming down her cheeks at a quick pace but at least the sobbing had calmed down a touch. "I'm just so tired..." She murmured against his chest. "My heart feels tired..." Her words were soft, a little confused sounding. Her body, mind and soul were exhausted but she knew she couldn't sleep right now if she tried. Instead she just moved impossibly closer to him, her head resting on his chest as her fingers curled into the fabric of his shirt. "I knew you wouldn't hurt me like that." She admitted after a few minutes of silence. She nodded a little bit at that, as if just accepting it as it was. "I'm guessing the bruises on your neck were the product of a fit of rage from your partner." She stated, her brow furrowed a little. "Taking that into consideration, do you think its a good idea to let him be alone in a closed room with her?" She questioned, looking over to him. He knew his partner better then anyone in the world did and she would accept what he thought in that matter.

(He brought a hand up to tip her chin up so he could look at her. Gently his hands came up to brush her tears away before he brought his lips to hers. He fetl compelled to kiss her, to share his strength with her and to let her know that he loved her. Her admition that she had believed his innocence bolstered his mood and brought about a sense of right within him.) (He brought a hand up to his neck and when he brushed over one of the bruises, barely held a wince.) Yeah, I didn't realize he'd bruised me. (He felt a bit embarassed about being overcome, but Remy was an impressively large and strong man, so it wasn't like he was a wimp or anything. He frowned at her question and went to knock on the door to the bedroom to remind them that Remy needed to come back out.) You like to get to the point, don't you.
