"...and you just attempted to drown me, I would say that qualifies as mean." She smirked a little, tipping her head to the side as she watched him, keeping her eyes wide as she played the innocent indignant role. "Though, really, that was a pretty sad attempt...you should work on your technique." She grinned, obviously enjoying teasing him, giving little playful shots to his ego. Every man needed to be brought down a few notches and she was just kidding around him, if any man was intrested in her he had to be willing to take her teasing and it was even better if he could dish it out in return.
