Actually, I was one of the players not 'obeying' the rule.
However, that's not from some malicious desire to subvert the rules of the game...but because I read the SA and then forgot about it in the midst of all the other things going on.

So the first I knew of the SA was when the errors appeared in our reports last turn.

Having said that...because I'm inexperienced...I let my OP industry get to low early on and had to rein in my ship building because of that! So my fleet isn't that big either.

But don't worry, the ship leader now will no doubt attract the attention of other players, which will give everyone else a chance to catch up.

As for DOS. It's a great game and it's well worth the time...even if you're like me and not the greatest player there is (yet!). Don't worry about the bugs in the system. There'll be plenty of fun in the fighting over the next few turns now that DLS has been defeated!
