I do a lot of home improvement projects, gardening and hiking that keep me flexible and in good shape. I would suggest you start to take long hikes in your favorite park. If you have a wheel barrel, fill it with dirt or bricks and haul it around the yard several times a day. Fill some buckets of water and do the same. Unfortunately nothing is going to get you in shape for chopping wood, except of coarse chopping wood.

Your neighbors are going to begin to think you are as "tiched in the head" as mine do me....
