There's the rub. Someone needs to know the time. When it comes to guard duties, the officer types and senior nco's need to be on the same time. Otherwise some poor boy - such as yourself - is going to be doing more than his fair share.

Not everyone needs to know the time, but everyone in the military camps will be regulated by the time on some bigger bug's time piece.
