Thanks for the info on the 28th Louisiana book. I was at a funeral today at St. Maurice, Louisiana. My wife's great great grandfather, Joe McDermott/McDermitt is buried there and served in company G. of the 28th Lousiana. It was a hard fighting, hard marching unit made up of mostly poor folks from Winn Parish and adjoining areas. One of my favorite units.
