Jocelyn and I attended the finals on Saturday night and Ashley ROCKED all night long! She looked AMAZING in her bathing suit and evening gown and was awesome in her talent! She is going to do very well at Miss America!

The Woodlands family should be so proud of our very own Ashley Daivs. She looked amazing on Thursday night at the Miss Alabama pageant. The night before she tied for the Swimsuit prelim. I just wanted to say how proud I am to know her and wish her the best of luck tonight at the finals. Who knows maybe we will have a Miss AL in the Woodlands family tomorrow. Good Luck Ashley!!!

Hello everyone! Once again, I have the Shelby County titles for sale! The fee is $150 and includes your banner, crown and state fee(excluding ad fees).

Some of you may recall that Shelby County had TWO girls crowned state queens last summer(Hadley Hall and Brantley White). We are so excited for them and thrilled that I hope this year's pageant will be as great as last year!

If there is enough interest, I will take on another county. Let me know! So far I have......

I would like to get my 15yr old daughter in one of your pageants. We live right outside of Mobile Al. What age division would she be in? She will be 16 in Oct. What does that mean when you say you have a title for sale? CAn that be purched, and then move on to the next pageant? Very confused about that. Please explain if you could.

I can't believe my year as Little Miss US Woodlands is over, but I had so much fun.

Mrs. Kay and Mrs. Carol- I have loved getting to know ya'll this year and I appreicate ya'll giving of your time to make little girls dreams come true. Thank you so much

Hello everyone! It is that time of year again and I have the titles for Shelby County Woodlands up for grabs!

The total price is $150 for Tiny thru Teen and $170 for Miss, excluding your ad fee. I have all open except for Little Miss AL Woodlands. If there is enough interest, I would take on another county to make sure all those who want to go to state are able to go.

Sadly, the Dale County Woodlands/Timberland had to be cancelled due to low numbers. Deadline was March 20 and there was only 3 paid entries. But on a happy note, I am selling off the titles fo Tiny-Miss woodlands/Timberland. Have several that have been sold already but still have alot left.

I wanted to say a special good luck to my daughters, Abigail England and Kailynn Davis this weekend at US Woodlands. After a year as Jr Miss AL Woodlands, Abigail, I know moving up to US would be a thrill. Wouldn't it be so neat for y'all to be US queens again together like you were in 2007? We love this system...so Good luck girls...you always make me proud!!! No matter what happens, win or lose, do your best and have fun!!

Dixie Divas Christmas Pageant 2009 - Autumn won Most Beautiful and Best Christmas Wear in her division, and also won Overall Mini Supreme for the 4-9 yr olds.

Way to go sweetheart, Mommy & Daddy are so proud of you. We know that this year has been really tough for you. You moved up into a TOUGH age group the beginning of this year. You have overcome having to go on stage alone, getting used to a new coach, and learning actual routines!!! Autumn competed in the Lowndes County Butterfly Beauties & Georgia Miss Public Safety South Ga Regional double header pageant in Valdosta this Saturday.

Autumn won prettiest hair, most photogenic and she also won Lowndes County Butterfly Beauties 4-5 yr old Division Supreme Queen AND Ga Miss Public Safety's OVERALL MINI SUPREME Queen (3rd highest overall score out of all contestants.) We are so proud of you baby doll!!!!

We are so thankful to have been able to participate in the US Woodlands at the beautiful Enterprise Civic Center. Everyone was so kind and it was such a wonderful learning experience. It was only Macey's second pageant so we hope to improve and be able to participate again in the future.

Best of all, Macey's "Paw-Paw" (who lives in Enterprise but is unable to travel far)was able to come and see her on stage. We feel so blessed because that was the greatest "prize" of all!! Thank you again for everything!

You can see she enjoyed the opportunity to meet the First Lady of Alabama Patsy Riley celebrating Arbor Day 09. We believe she was the first queen to ever received a golden shovel. The shovel was used to help plant a new tree on the lawn of the Alabama Capitol. The shovel was signed by Mrs. Riley. This makes the dream of being 2008 Petite Miss Alabama Woodlands Abigail Marler very special.

Just wanted to let anyone know that might be interested that I am selling Chasity's pageant and party dresses. She has 10 pageant dresses,sizes from 4-8, poffey or straight, and 9 party/cocktail dresses. They are all different colors and range from $100 to $600. We really need to sell these!!! Most of them have only been worn once or twice. The party dresses are ones that she has either worn to represent her titles or have worn to school dances. They are all in EXCELLENT condition. I just wanted to say how proud I am of my daughter Amaris Sawyers for winning Jr. Miss U.S. Woodlands! You've had a rough month or so. You were so sad with everything that happened this week, and even though I BEGGED you not to do this pageant because you haven't been well, you pulled thru and SHINED like always! I could tell you weren't your normal 100%, but just your determination and your will to never give up to always push forward makes me so proud of you! I love you baby!

A special thank you goes out to Tiffany and Danny Peters, parents of Petite Miss Greater Dothan Woodlands, Emily, for generously hosting the party at their house!! Congrats to my new Henry County Woodlands Queens that were crowned Saturday. Thank you Mrs. Kay and Mrs. Carol (AS ALWAYS) for being there to help me through my prelim!! Thank you to Bethany and my daughter, Abigail, Petite Miss US Woodlands, for doing a great job emceeing (even with the crappy sound system...LOL)...Thank you to my other little girl, Kailynn, Tiny Miss US Woodlands, her sister queen, Chasilyn, Little Miss US Woodlands and Carissa for helping in the crowning. I know backstage can be hectic, and I could not put these pageants on if it weren't for all of the help I get!!! Thanks Mrs. Valerie for being my impromptu photographer!! Also, last but not least, thank you Mrs. Sandy Goodson for graciously offering to work the door for me!

Hello everyone! I am working on setting up some mock interviews for all ages. The plan is to have a 3-5 minute interview with a 5 minute instant feedback session. The interviews will be recorded and available immediatley. The feedback sessions can be recorded as well. This is a great opportunity to get some practice before the state pageant in July where interview is required. It is also a chance to practice for Peanut prelims or peanut if you are already on your way! If you are interested please contact me as soon as possible at nelson3_99@yahoo.com. I am hoping to keep the cost between $20 and $30 for interview and disc. As soon as I know how many are interested I will be able to work out all the details. Thanks!

Congrats to Chelsea Ingram, 2007 Little Miss AL Camellia (and former AL Forestry AND Woodlands state queen) for winning Kindergarten Class Beauty at Rehobeth.

Chasilyn Sawyers ¡V 2007 Little Miss US Woodlands and my Little Miss Greater Dothan Forestry 2008 was giving upper her Little Miss Rebel Overall title at this pageant. Last year, Chasilyn won the highest score in grades K-5 out of over 60 girls!!! She looked so beautiful in her white crowning dress!!!

Tomorrow, my Teen Miss Greater Dothan Forestry, Kaley Howard is competing for 8th grade class beauty at Rehobeth. Good luck to you Kaley!!!

At the same pageant, Amaris Sawyers, my 2008 Jr Miss Greater Dothan Forestry, is giving up her overall Jr Miss Rebel title where she won overall in grades 6-8 last year.

There were 86 girls competing in grades K-5 at this pageant!!!! As you can see from these huge numbers, we sure have some serious talent in the Forestry/Woodlands system¡Kbut we knew that already!! ƒº I am so super proud of all of these girls and wish them each congrats/good luck as the pageant season gets kicked up!!!!

As one final note, a special congrats goes out to my very own daughter, Abigail England, Petite Miss US Woodlands 2007 for winning 5th grade class beauty at Rehobeth!! I love you baby girl!! You are growing up so much and I am so, so proud of you!!!!

I would like to thank the wonderful directors for both the state pageant and the preliminary pageants. You all do such a wonderful Job. This was my third year being able to be the director of the Miss Tri-County Forestry Pageant system. I Could not have done it with out alot of help from other directors and Mrs Carol and Mrs Kay. I would also like to thank the wonderful queens that show up at every preliminary pageant to suport this wonderful pageant system. These girls give up there time to make it to most of the events and you are all very important to me . Most of the directors are so happy to have each and every one of you come and support there pageants I know that I was. I would like to thank all of the State queens and the other visiting queens from the Florida Woodlands pageant system and all of the other Preliminary queens that came to my pageant and supported it.Thank you to all of the directors that give all of these girls a chance to help out at your pageants . These girls are so excited about being queens and they are willing to help in any way possible.Katherine and Haven you repersented the Alabama Woodlands titles very well Sat at the pageant. I was very impressed with you both . To my New Miss Tri-County Woodlands Sarah Hilton Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to repersent your title at this pageant. I enjoyed having lunch with you. To all of the Directors please keep in mind that all of these girls are very important and they are such a big help. the older girls are great with crowing and helping out with the little ones we need to show all of the queens that show up to support our pageants that we are all greatful to all of them . Miss Greater Dothan Forestry/Woodlands Pageant
January 12, 2008 at 3 p.m. Interviews will start at 9 a.m. We will crown after every third group as we know our little ones tend to get impatient.

GENEVA COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL, HARTFORD, AL

PHOTOGENIC, STAGE PRESENCE, VERBAL COMMUNICATION (PERSONALITY FOR BABY-TEENY) & BEST DRESS AWARDS IN EACH DIVISION!

INTERVIEW AWARD IN TEEN & MISS DIVISIONS! OPTIONAL INTERVIEW (AND AWARD) IN ALL OTHER DIVISIONS TINY THRU JUNIOR!

• A 1st and 2nd alternate will be named in each group and will be awarded a trophy and a gift. If for some reason there are exactly four girls in a group, we will not allow just one girl to be left out and have 3rd alternate trophies available. We would like to take this time to thank all of those who were such a huge help yesterday at the Camellia Pageant.

First, Tammy Davis...thanks so much for handling getting the building yesterday and chasing down a key for the dressing rooms yesterday. You are awesome.

Trish...you know that we could never do without you at any of our pageants. Momma & Aunt Lovell...thanks for always doing the door for us...you two are awesome and we love you!!!

Madison & Abigail...you both did an outstanding job emceeing yesterday. Madison you are so beautiful but you are also one of the sweetest persons that we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Abigail...we have seen you grow so much over the past 2 years...keep up the great work. We love you both and are so glad that you are our queens this year.

Sirena...you are the best girl. I can always count on you to help with pictures and everything. We Love you!!!

Haven, Rachel P, Taylor, & Rachel W...thanks so much for helping with the crowning yesterday. We could not have done it without all of your help yesterday. You are all awesome and we love you.

Thanks to all the parents and the contestants..thanks for showing great sportsmanship and friendship to each other yesterday. If it wasn't your day...remember that next time it just may be yours.

I just wanted to let everyone know what a great time I had at the BBQ! It was so nice to have quality time with not only the US Woodlands queens, but all the queens. After Saturday, there is no doubt in my mind why any of you were picked, you are all so special! Thank you to Mrs. Carol for arranging this special event. Even though I am not an Auburn fan, this was one thing I was definitely looking forward to. Thank you Mrs. Sirena for helping me with my crown. I told you it would take all those bobby pins!! Haven, I still can't believe how old you are, or should I say how young! You are so mature in your age, and you are so beautiful!! I had a blast getting to know you!! To my girls, Abigail, Kailynn, Anna Kate and Lindsey, I am so proud to be your big miss!! You all kept me laughing and having a great time!! I love you all!!I can't wait until this Saturday!!

I just wanted to say a great big thank you to everyone who gave up there Sat. to be at the BBQ.It ment alot to all of the girls to get to spend time with each other. Morgan and Madison you both were so great with all of the younger girls, Some times I dont think that the older girls understand just how much the little girls look up to them . You both made each one of them feel very special and you bot made a big impact on Haven life. She enjoyed spending time with both of you so much. I cant waite to spend Sat at the p-nut parade and Fair with all of you.

First of all i would like to say thank you to Mrs Carol for everything. I love you so much and i could not ask for better directors than you and Mrs Kay. I would like to thank Mr David West for another great year at Auburn. I enjoyed this year so much. To my Miss Morgan thank you so much for sharing this day with all of us. I loved our ride up to Auburn me ,you and Jasmine really got to know each other and i am so glad that you are my miss. Madison you are great. You are so sweet and you treated me just like i was one of you queens but most of all like a friend. I loved getting to know you.Jasmine, Kaitlin,Katherine,and Abree. I always have a great time with all of you . I know that this will be a wonderful year. To all of the other queens who attended this big event that you i loved sharing this day with all of you. Thanks to all of the great parents for driving us all the way to Auburn. Without all of you this would not be possible. I cant waite till Sat. at p-nut.

It always so much fun to get together with my girls at every event but I was so proud of all of you for showing such a presence at the Auburn Forestry Alumni BBQ. Everyone at the event were so impressed with each and every one of you. You all make me smile both on the inside and out when I am around all of you.

Thanks to all of my Queens' parents for driving to Auburn this weekend and making the day so special for all of us. You are the best Mom's and Dad's and I am so glad that I have all of you supporting Forestry and Woodlands this year.

A special thanks to all my Queens for representing Forestry and Woodlands so well this past weekend and I can't wait to spend time with all of you again soon.

And Sirena...thanks for taking pics when my camera died...you are always there for me when I need you.

We had fun at the Auburn BBQ today! It was great to get to know each other a little more and spend some time together!!! Madison...my girls just LOVE you and you are one of the sweetest young ladies I have ever been around in the pageant world...my girls are so lucky to have you as thier Miss!!! AnnaKate..you always make us laugh and help me keep up with K!! THANKS a BUNCH!! Lindsey...it was nice to get to spend a little more time with you. Hopefully we can get to know you more as the year progresses...to all of the AL Forestry and Woodlands Queens that came today...we are so glad to get to know all of you more every day....enjoy every minute...it goes by FAST!! Before you know it, it will be Summer and time to crown new queens!!

ALSO....


Wanted to share that my daughters, Tiny Miss US Woodlands, Kailynn and Petite Miss US Woodlands, Abigail, won Toddler and Junior Miss Wiregrass Noel today. Kailynn won photogenic and best dressed. Abigail won interview and photogenic. This was a pageant put on by the Wiregrass Pageant systems. I am very proud of my girls!!

Thank you Carol for being there with me. I know it was stressful getting the girls from Auburn back to Ashford on time to get ready and do the pageant, but as a team we pulled it off. Thank you for being there every time I needed you to do something today. Thanks to Cristina for the Hair and making Ab's outfit ADORABLE!! I know I would not have managed Ab's hair being under such time constraints from being in Auburn all morning. I don't know how you do it! Thanks for all your help!!

Congrats to all of the other new Wiregrass Noel Queens. Nae-Nae...I told your mom you could handle petite and I was RIGHT!! SO make sure and remind her of that every now and again...the part about ME being right that is! HA! Sarah-Grace...you have to be one of the sweetest and most gracious little girls. You are always more excited when others win than yourself! That says a lot about you and your parents!! We can't wait to spend time with you. Katie..you are just so adorable and I am SO excited you won and we get to spend some more time getting to know you.

Mrs. Kerrie...thank you for having confidence that the girls and I could get back from Auburn in time for the girls to enter the pageant. It paid off!! We can't wait to get involved with the Wiregrass Children's Home!!!

The United States Woodlands & Alabama Woodlands Queens will be special guests this weekend at the Auburn University Forestry Alumni BBQ. This is a huge event that is always so much fun for all the Queens.

Also, attending the BBQ will be the Sister Queens for Alabama Forestry.

I am so excited to get the chance to go to the Auburn BBQ again this year. Even though I am a big Alabama Fan (ROLL TIDE) This is one of my favorite events. I cant waite to see Mr David again, and i hope you all like him as much as i do. He is such a wonderful man and i am so happy that he ask the Alabama Forestry and Alabama Woodlands Queens to be a part of so many great events.I cant waite to see all of my Woodland and Forestry sister queens, I know that we all will have so much fun.

The City of Daleville will be participating in the Dale County Drug Free Kick Off caravan on Monday, Oct. 22. We will be lining up at the Daleville Cultural and Convention Center and will depart for Ozark at 3:20pm. If you would like to be a part of our caravan please call me at 334-598-6331 or email me at chamber@dalevilleal.com. We will caravan to the agplex arena where we will ride in front of a panel of judges. Transportation can be bus, float, truck, car, etc. decorated for Drug Free Week. The theme this year is "Get High on Life-Not Drugs"

We wanted to share a success story about our wonderful daughter Abigail Marler (Little Miss Greater Enterprise and Little Miss Coffee County Woodlands). She competed in the 2007 Pre-Teen Alabama Scholarship and Recognition Program this past weekend in Birminham, Al. She won the following awards:
Overall 1st Runner-Up Jr.(7-9yo) Division (Won $400.00 Educational Bond/Invitation to 2008 Pre-Teen Amercia Program July, 2008 in New Orleans, LA),
Overall Judge's Personnel Development Award-103 Contestants, Jr.(7-9yo)/Sr.(10-12yo),
Semifinalist Top 30 Overall-103 Contestants, Jr.(7-9yo)/Sr.(10-12yo),
Optionals: 2nd Runner-Up Speech Jr. Division.

Us residents of the town of Taylor and Abigail England, Petite Miss United States Woodlands and Yg. Jr. Miss Taylor, want to thank each and every one of you for coming out and enduring the extreme heat to make our Taylor Made Festival a great success!! We were so proud that there were so many Forestry and Woodlands Queens represented at the parade and festival!!! Abigail was so busy with her Taylor Queen duties, that she didn’t get to spend much time with you all, but she wanted each of you to know that she appreciates you coming to her hometown and being in the parade!! She cannot wait to see you again soon!

AnnaKate (and parents): Thank you SO much for letting Kailynn tag along with y’all in the parade. Even with the heat, she had so much fun!! She still talks about her sister queen “AnnaKate Faulk”…not sure why she insists on continuing to say the last name….LOL!!

Hey Abigail! My Abigail went to Pre-Teen Alabama last year and was invited back this year. She did make finalist again, but unfortunately, we had other plans come up and will not be able to go. Abigail was really disappointed. I won't tell her you will be there or she will really be upset! Her good friend, Masy, will be there. Maybe you will get to meet her!!! I hope you have fun. It is a great experience!! It really is a great system that acknowledges girls of all backgrounds for all of their special talents and accomplishments.

Boy oh Boy was it a hot day. Even though i got very sick from the heat I had a great time at the parade getting to see all of my sister queens and all of the other queens. Everyone looked so pretty and you all repersented these pageant system well. I cant waite to see all of you again and maybe next time it will not be so hot.

On behalf of my daughters, Abigail and Kailynn, I wanted to tell everyone that we had a great time at the Queen's picnic!! Like Haven said, it was VERY HOT but the food was great. We were just glad to get to see each other for our first official get-together since the pageant. Thank you to Mrs. Sirena and Mrs. Paula for orgnaizing the event. Thank you to everyone who brought food and supplies that helped make the picnic a success.

Also, our hometown is in Taylor and we really hope to get to see everyone at our parade on the 11th!!! Can't wait to see you all again soon!!

I am so excited about spending this upcoming year with all of you and getting to know each of you starting this weekend at the Queens Picnic in Geneva at the River Junction Park. Chasity & Payton: My daughter, Abigail, was 2006 AL Forestry Princess. While we never had anyone directly say to us that “we bought our title”, there were some insecurities that Abigail felt as a result of how she received her crown. Kay and Carol told us over and over how important that the Princess was to them for all of the reasons that have been stated here on the boards.

I sold the ads as a surprise for Abigail since she was pretty new to pageants last year and wanted her to have a back up since only one girl could win the Petite title…and we had no idea if it would be “her day” or someone else’s…it was in the judge's hands...it turned out to be another’s day….so she was crowned Princess. It was a great thing for her because instead of going home empty handed, she went home with a ton of gifts, a beautiful crown and banner and a new set of sister queens.

She also was able to make many appearances, speak in public and it also helped in her maturity. All of this helped to improve her pageant skills…..which I believe had a huge impact on her confidence, which has led to her winning Petite Miss US Woodlands just recently. If anyone tells you Princess isn’t a good thing, ask Abigail. She will tell you a different story.

Also, Abigail made her directors really proud when she was princess. She showed up to everything, and even with her insecurities about the title, she represented it with the best of her ability and all of her heart. She was rewarded when she gave up her crown because they gave her the “Queen of Queens award” and she received an extra savings bond for working so hard at her title.

So, to sum it up, being Princess is an awesome job and both of you should be VERY proud. You never know where your experiences will lead you!!!

Thank you to everyone for all of your kind words. I am so excited about this year. Payton I am happy that we get to share this year together. I was so glad that we met when we went to p-nut and that we have stayed friends. After all that is what pageants are all about meeting new people and makeing life long friendships. Katie Ward you also looked very beautiful, and it was so good to see you and your mom again. Chasity and payton dont ever let anyone tell you that you did not win those titles, because if it was not for girls like you there would not be any scholarship money that the queens get at the end of the year and non of us would have the beautiful crowns that we all received.I cant waite to see all of you on Sunday for the picknick.

Hey everybody! I just wanted to say I had a GREAT time! I love to wear sparkly dresses, and have my makeup and hair done! I was so excited! Thank you to Ms. Carol, and Ms. Kay for putting on such a great pageant and having all of us at waterworld! I can't wait to get to go to events with all of my new sister queens! I've just had my tonsils taken out this week, so I've been a little under the weather, and my mama is getting a little "quiet" time. You have to have money to operate and function. I was proud of her and the title that she WON! She is appreciative of everything, her title, her crown and banner, and her basket that she got. Thank you again Kay and Carol, and Sirena for making her feel special!

My daughter recently won the title of Alabama Forestry Princess 2007 and like you, I was so proud of her and she is excited about representing her title. We have also heard "bought" the title, but we worked harder for the title and we helped make everything else for the year possible for everyone else so tell your daughter we are looking forward to sharing the year with her as the Princesses!

WOW, What a great pageant.
I would first of all like to say thank you to bot Carol and Kay. Without the both of you this all would not be possible.Thank you so much for choosing me as DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR. After all of my hard work is was great to be reconiged for it.

This pageant was such a wonderful event to me in so many different ways, but most of all i loved getting to meet a lot of new contestants and spending time with the other outstanding group of young ladies that i already knew.

I would like to congraulate all of the contestants for a job well done.

A special Congrats. to Abree Trotter Tiny Miss Al. Woodlands. You were so beautiful and i enjoyed getting to know you at practice and at water world.

To Litte Miss Al. Woodlands Kaitlyn Mcknight ( my little miss wiregrass woodlands) I am so proud of you. You are a very special little girl to me , and i know that we will all have fun together.

To Jasmine Shiver Petite Miss Al. Woodlands(my Tri-County woodlands princess) What can i say i have watch you grow up your whole life and i am so very impressed with you.


To my daughter Haven Junior Miss Al. Woodlands. Once agian you amazed me. Your ability to make friends where ever you go and your confidense and attitude on stage is so special. You take my breath away.I love you

To Katherine King Teen Miss Al. Woodlands . You have truley won my heart in the past few mounths. Your outgoing personality and your love for others really show what an amazing young woman that you are. I love you.

To Chasity Fields Al. Woodlands Princess ( my Teen miss Al. Woodlands ) You have worked so hard and you deserve the very best. You always have a smile on you face and i look forward to sharing this year with you.

To Morgan Crittenden Miss Ala. Woodlands Haven and I both just fell in love with you at practice. And she was so excited when you were crowned. I am so greatful that all of the Al. queens has such an amazing Miss to share this special year with.

To Kailynn Tiny miss U.S. Woodlands. You always make me smile i loved playing on stage with you after the pageant.

To Chasilyn Yu were so beautiful and you will make a great little miss.

To Abigail you know that you hold a special place in my heart. You have grown so much in the pageant world since i first met you. I was proud to have you repersent my pageant and to win U.S. Woodlands you go girl.

To Anna Kate I know that you and Haven will have a blast this year together. CONGRATS.

To Lindsey Cutts. Thank you for all of the kind words to both Haven and I. You are truley a special young ladie. To Maddison You were so beautiful and i know that you will repesent the U.S. Woodlands title like no one else could.

To Miss AL. Forestry Racheal Philippona
Teen Miss Al. Forestry Sarah Catherine Purvis
and Teen Miss Coffee County Bethany Stone.
you all did a great job emceing the pageants. You were all great with the girls and that means alot to both the contestants and their parents.

Also thak you to all of the wonderful parents of all of my preliminary queens. I could not have asked for a better group of girls or parents. It is Parents and Directors working together that makes it such a special year. Thank you all.

WOW! What a great day my family had on Saturday!! I am so honored and proud that both of my girls won United States Woodlands titles this weekend.

Carol and Kay: As usual, awesome job!! I was attracted to the Forestry System last year for all that you both do for your queens, in addition to it being a fun, organized and fair system! Thank you both for another awesome event! My girls and I are proud to represent your system for a year!! We love you!!!

To the new Alabama Woodlands Queens: CONGRATS! We cannot wait to spend some time with you all!! Abree and Haven: I am so glad we will be spending the year doing events together. We have gotten to know you both and your families so much that it will be so much fun to do stuff for the rest of the year!!

Abree: You were a wonderful replacement for Rachel White (Tiny Miss AL Forestry) for my Greater Dothan system and I was proud that you won your state title!!!

I am also extremely proud of all of the girls who represented Greater Dothan and Houston County, my two systems.

Madison, AnnaKate and Chasilyn: We are going to have a great year!!! Chasilyn: You were so excited when you excitedly announced that you and Abigail get to be sister Queens AGAIN, and we are going to make the best of it!!

Now, to my girls:
Abigail: You proudly represented you AL Forestry Princess title all year last year with the hopes of one day winning a state title…now here you are, Petite Miss United States Woodlands!!! You always do well, but you really turned on your charm and gave one of your best performances the other day! My Angel, you are beautiful and I know you will represent this title to the best of your ability to make the directors proud!!!

Kailynn: OH MY GOSH!!! Almost 4 year sold and already Tiny Miss United States Woodlands!!! You certainly love the stage and it showed!! You are my living doll and obviously the judges thought so too!!! I am so proud of you being such a big girl on that stage all by yourself!!! I don’t think anyone will every forget you singing Honkey Tonk BaDonkeydonk on stage!! I love you baby girl!!!

I know you are both proud to be sisters and sister queens! I LOVE YOU BOTH!

I just want to say that I had fun being with my new friends at the pageant on Saturday. DeAnna, you did a great job and I am so glad that we are friends! Taylor S., you always do good and we have so much fun playing together before pageants. I hope to see you around and at other pageants! You are two very sweet girls and I am so glad to have made friends because that is what it is all about! Friends for Life! Love you!

I also want to tell my "big sisters" Haven and Katherine congrats on winning Alabama Woodlands. You will both make great queens. I look forward to seeing your smiling faces as you promote Alabama Woodlands! Love you both!

I just wanted to say thank you for holding the pageant again and for all of the work that you put into it. Although yesterday wasn't Sarah-Grace's "day"-- she did learn some valuable lessons about herself through the experience. I was sorry to read the previous post that was made-- it is truly unfortunate.

At the risk of sounding "holier than thou", let me point out something to those who may be reading. There is ALWAYS something positive to be taken from the pageant experience whether you win or lose. I know that we have certainly learned about some things that we need to improve upon when we don't win or place, and it does help to keep you "humble."

I thought that all of the girls were so pretty yesterday, and I can imagine that it was a difficult decision. And Sarah-Grace had the BEST TIME EVER at Water World!!

I look forward to seeing ALL of our pageant friends again soon. And please remember that sometimes it is about the friendships and the lessons we learn rather than winning the crown (but a crown every once in a while doesn't hurt either!!) ;-)

We would like to take a minute to wish everyone competing at Alabama & US Woodlands this weekend a big Good Luck. Just remember that you are all winners and that there will only be 2 crowns in each category. Remember to make as many friends as possible and have a great time!

Can't wait to meet everyone at Water World tonight to kick off a wonderful weekend.
