Y..O..U.......Y..O..U.......You DARE to question WHO holds the highest authority on Mongo? Your great Emperor Ming, of course. The High Priest was merely a pawn in my plan to dominate the universe, but he did not last long, in the serial or the comics. Unbeknowst to many, with regard to Tao, the so called High Priest was similar to the wizard in earth's mythical land of Oz. The High Priest animated Tao....and don't be fooled by Barin...his clan never ruled Mongo ages ago.
I will allow this questioning slide for now, but such will not go unanswered in the future. By the way, it is time, and long overdue, to change that picture above to show Emperor Ming in full battle uniform, instead of the High Priest standing next to a gong. That is all for now and my thanks to Officer Torch for his assistance.

May I remind you, Flash and Barin were on their way to kill Ming, but the High Priest saved his life (but they thought Ming died in the Sacred Palace of the Great God Tao). So, that just goes to show you how important the High Priest is on Mongo. Cheers!

Heh, heh....in the serials, you saw me, Emperor Ming speak softly (inaudibly) to the High Priest near the abode of the sacred dragon. You saw him pull a lever to open the door providing me access to the fire dragon's lair. (This was on my order, besides,the audience did not know what was said.) Then, there was smoke. Flash and friends simply took the High Priest's word I was dead. (I am after all fireproof as evidenced later eg by walking thru flames on Mars to shut a valve. I was still around for a 3rd serial, a movie on earth, some cartoons and recent TV shows.
Heh, the High Priest in the original comics was referred to as Zogi, and I... Emperor Ming, personally ran him through early on with my sword to finish off the jabbering fool during my wedding ceremony which was not completed. Cheers...eh?..heh, heh, HEH, HEH, Gotcha
