Subject: Flash Gordon DVD update

It's been a year since Image discontinued all FG DVDs. If you look at Amazon, you can see the box set of all three films is being sold by sellers starting at $199.99. The individual serials are around $50.00 and the cut-down features that were seen on TV in the 60's are various prices. Some higher, others lower. Hopefully in the near future, another distributor will buy the rights. VCI would be a great choice.

FYI, VCI has a nice website. I had a phone chat with a person there who indicated best to request by email. They've provision for this on their site. If interested, visit asking if they might produce Buster Crabbe Flash Gordon serials from yesteryear...suggest also subtitles and cc. Things may not be simple since licensed material involved, but its worth a try. FYI, VCI did well remastering Buck Rogers serial from 1939 not long ago.

Visit their site at....vci@vcientertainment.com
or check your favorite search engine and type in VCI Entertainment.

VCI would be an excellent choice for the Flash Gordon trilogy. They have a wonderful selection of films and television series from classic to cult, and from a wide variety of genres. Visit their website and sign up for their email newsletter.

Commander Rick and Officer Torch thought of VCI as a possible vehicle for the Flash Gordon serials before I ever did. No wonder I am still an enlisted man, heh!
