Re helmet...he was jealous and stole it from me. Nah! It was probably readily available in the prop room, and he was likely directed to use it. It's a nice, sturdy helmet...and good lookin' as well. Ask me how I know.

Those so called "Cabbage Head" guys...in Mars; we in our forum shenanigans gave these alien looking guys this nickname some years back. There are 3, perhaps 4 of them we see, usually waiting for, or around audience with Queen Azura. Interestingly, they look a bit similar to the types who traveled from Mars to Earth at speed of light at beginning of serial FGTTM to plant the nitron weapon. Dunno if they are exactly the same. They were not specifically in Raymond's strip (Mongo adventures, not Mars)...but there were aliens of all types, shapes, sizes and colors

Azura was the Witch Queen of Mongo in the strips. She was called the Witch Queen of the Blue Magic Men. (The men were blue.) She was quite ummm....a hot type shall we say, and wanted Flash.

Turns out the Alex Raymond Sunday strips used color galore for the various people in the many kingdoms. You can see some of ARs comic panels by going to LINKS here and roam around a site called "Spitfires of the Spaceways."
