My husband saw my douche bag hanging to dry two weeks after our wedding and asked me what it was for.

I explained that I liked to feel clean aftet my periods and that I rinsed myself inside with warm salt water each month.
(I actually started douching when I was around 13 as my mother suggested it as a way of relieving period pain, which it did and I much preferred it to taking analgesics, which often made me feel queasy. I continued with the practise even though I no longer needed the pain relief!

When my next period came round he watched me insert a Tampax after lovemeking on the first day - I always feel randy then - and when a few days later he saw me getting the douche bag out, he asked if he could watch that too. It wasn't too much a big deal for me, as my mother had given me my first few douches anyway, and he had seen everything there was to see about my body. So I filled the syringe and hung it on the shower head.

He watched fascinated as I lifted one foot up on the bath rim, inserted the nozzle and released the clamp to start the flow. He asked me how it felt when I held my labia closed around the nozzle and allowed myself to fill. Then looked amazed as I released the fluid with a gush. I repeated the procedure until the bag was empty, then he asked if he could do it for me.

I felt a bit apprehensive about this, but after a moment I agreed and filled the bag again. This time he slipped the nozzle in for me and held my labia firmly against the inserted pipe, but I told him I wanted control over the water flow asa I did not want to be ovefilled. We have often done this together in the last three years and he always gets very excited by watching or helping, as indeed he does when I allow him to insert my Tampax for me.

I am quite happy for us to be so close and for him to know all the intimate details of being a girl and I feel he loves me and cares for my well being a little more, now he knows just what goes on.
