Hi Lauren: You’ve asked an interesting question – I am 34 years old, married for 13 years, and I started douching when I was 13 and had started my periods. Like you, I found it to be “cool” and kind of grown up. I admit that from the very first time I inserted the douche nozzle into my vagina (it was a folding syringe my mother bought for me), I found the sensation to be very pleasurable.
