Subject: Hijo, I'm afraid you don't quite understand the role of a moderator. A moderator is not just the "deletion guy", hijo. In an editorial board like PBKT, a moderator also leads his group of writers to create a common theme or a unified cause in a forum. If a moderator desires a forum of purely beauty pageant-related issues, then the members deliver them. If the former wants a forum with bits-and-bobs of pop culture other than beauty pageants, then the latter follows suit. In the same token, there are also members who are given access by a moderator to delete undesirable posts. This given privilege, per se, is actually good! However, it's not a member's right to delete somebody else's post without the prior approval of a moderator. (click for more)

Having the privilege to delete an undesirable post doesn't automatically make a member to act and assume the rights of a moderator. There is absolutely no organization in this whole world where everybody is a leader with no members at all. In the first place, a leader is called a "leader" because of the presence of followers who follow him and for him to lead. Likewise, wala ring editorial board na puro moderators na lamang ang lahat at wala nang natitirang mga miyembro. Since ako lang mag-isa rito sa NY, I can't speak for Pawee and how he runs the PBKT editorial board. I still have to find out if the alledged deletion of good posts (as claimed by you, guys), were done according to sound judgment and approval from Pawee or with malice intent and out-of-context abuse of privilege from somebody in his editorial board. Thank you!

Lokohin mo ang sarili mo, kahit nag iisa ka diyan sa NY . Staff ka niya, na di hamak na moderator. Permission kay Pawee, pwe! Pawee's forum is very informal and you made it sound like a big deal. (NT)Maglokohan na lang kayo ni Pawee.06:32:46 04/02/06 Sun
