Gee, genius, have you forgotten the $1 trillion spent in a war of choice that was justified by lies? There were NO WMDs,* and Iraq was prostrate after 12 years of sanctions. But the neo-con chicken hawks had their war to establish US presence in an Arab country which just happens to sit on top of the world's 2nd largest known oil reserves.

But here's a bit of irony: the 1st contract the Maliki government gave to develop one of its oil fields was to a Communist Chinese company.

* The physical infrastructure required to enrich uranium to weapons' grade is huge and readily detectable by the US's so-called "National Assets," which is Pentagonese for passive and active imaging satellites whose existence and capabilities have been long-discussed in the open literature. I estimate that 99% of the American people do not have the intellectual curiosity required to access the literature, much of which is on-line.
