Subject: Anybody watching the new season of American Idol?

I wasn't even going to watch with no Simon. Had no opinion of Steven Tyler and somewhat disliked Jennifer Lopez thinking her rather snooty just from pictures I've seen of her! I think I disliked her by association due to being with Ben Afleck who I truly dislike. LOL

WELL... I find Steven Tyler ENDEARING and J-Lo a sweetheart! Who'd have thunk it ????????? If I had to pick one of them to go, it would be Randy!!!!!!!

I'm loving this season of American Idol! Is anyone else watching?

and I LOVE these judges, especially Steven T! I don't miss Simon one bit, and, like you and many others, I didn't think this show could go on without him. I think Randy needs to stop trying to BE Simon, however. He didn't used to be mean and rude.

Like you, I wasn't a big fan of Steven Tyler or J Lo, but I have changed my mind. When Steven Tyler leaned over and whispered in the ear of the lady in the wheelchair, "He is so good because he is singing for you" and held her head so gently...made me cry.

Also, I do like it when he sings along with them. I love when he drums for them. I love how when someone is really good, he is so encouraging.

Yeah, I have become a fan.

The audition process is what I always loathed but not this time around. I did not like Steve Tyler and had no feelings for J Lo. In the couple of weeks Idol has been on, I have completely changed my opinions of them. I think the difference is that the tone is much kinder, and I think it is because J Lo & Steve have kids, and they are more parental in their comments.

I also love that Steve & J Lo sing along, and have fun with the kids that can't sing in a fun way, not a degrading, mean way ...
