Affectionate cats (males are especially so) are so sweet. How does he get along with your dogs?

Abby's fine like I knew she'd be, doesn't pay much attention to the cat.

Zoe was even more obnoxious than I anticipated. We didn't let them be around each other for very long. All Zoe wants is to give Teddy a thorough sniff to figure out what the heck he is, but of course Teddy's having none of that.

For now, Teddy's down in the family room and the dogs are upstairs. Abby can come down with us but we'll only allow the cat upstairs and/or Zoe downstairs when they're supervised. And at least until after Christmas Teddy won't be upstairs unless we're home. I'm not taking any chances with my Christmas tree or living room furniture!

He was a good boy last night; he used his litter box and didn't ruin anything. I couldn't find him for awhile when I first went down there this morning. He spent the night behind some spare mattresses we have propped up against the wall down there. When he did come out it was a purring and rubbing fest. He meowed loudly when I stopped. This is not going to be a cat who hides; he's so affectionate! I love him already. :-)
